Transparent fire protective sol-gel coating for wood panels

چکیده
A transparent fire protective sol-gel coating deposited on wood has been evaluated using different tests, such as mass loss cone, mini single burning item and furnace tests. The heat release rate total during combustion, but also the flame spread behavior thermal protection performances of coatings have studied. Two processes to apply assessed show thickness dependence performance. When a thick (800 μm thick) wood, lowers release, decreases greatly improves substrate.
